Foundry Church is excited to announce its entry into the “blogosphere!” Even though thousands of churches and ministries already have blogs, we believe we have something unique and important to share with the world, starting with messages directly to and from our Foundry family. So please engage in this project by reading regularly, contributing if the Spirit leads, and discuss with others about what you find interesting on what we are calling “The Forge.”

Austin Evans

After graduating from Pepperdine University, Austin enjoyed a brief professional baseball career with the Texas Rangers organization. Austin has a BS in Mathematics from Pepperdine and an MA in Education from the University of Massachusetts. He taught high school mathematics for 8 years and now owns and operates licensed care facilities.

Austin and his wife, Sara, have four children and are involved in the ministry of adoption of orphans.
