7 Lies Your Kids Will Believe Unless You Do Something

This video is a conversation between conservative pastor Mike Winger and author/teacher Elizabeth Urbanowicz. It’s over an hour long, and it focuses on uncovering the hidden messaging that prevails in our culture. They tackle messages such as “If I feel it, it must be true” and “Follow your heart”, discussing them from a Biblical perspective. When it comes to truth and how we see the world, we adults are certainly not immune to what culture tells us. How much more are our children susceptible?! I don’t personally agree with how Mike and Elizabeth handle every topic in their list, but I certainly think the conversation is worthwhile—if only to help me think about how I am raising and instructing my children. How can I combat some of this messaging? For this concept alone, the video is well worth a watch.
